A 60 minute video call where we can dive into anything you want help with. Common topics include editing, shooting techniques, pricing, client experience, marketing, brand positioning, and growing your photography business.
Portfolio review and honest feedback on your work, including suggestions for strengthening your portfolio and attracting your ideal clients.

We’ll begin with a relaxed one hour conversation over coffee or lunch where we can talk through editing, business strategy, pricing, client experience, gear, marketing, or anything else you want guidance on.
After that, we’ll move into a 60 minute styled session that I will plan and coordinate. This gives you the opportunity to practice directing, posing, and working with natural light while I offer feedback and guidance throughout the shoot.
Every photo you capture during the session is yours to keep and use in your portfolio, website, and social media.

A styled shoot along the shores of Lake Michigan designed to create timeless, natural images while learning how to work with beautiful light. During this session, we’ll photograph a real couple in a thoughtfully styled setting while I guide you through posing, composition, and how to use the landscape to create storytelling images. It’s a chance to practice in a relaxed environment, build your portfolio, and gain confidence directing clients in one of Michigan’s most stunning locations.
Join Aleena Kendrick’s photography mentorships to learn luxury wedding and destination photography. Mentorships include guidance for shooting weddings, elopements, couples, and families in Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Saugatuck, Holland, South Haven, Traverse City, and West Michigan, as well as destination locations like Sedona, Moab, and Yosemite.
