Hey there, I'm Aleena Kendrick

You can usually find me sipping matcha, listening to Spotify, or reading whenever I’m not editing photos or chasing around my feral kids. Life is beautifully full around here, and I’ve learned to slow down and appreciate the simple moments. Warm sunlight on the porch, blasting music and singing and dancing our hearts out, and the chaos of family life unfolding around me.

When I’m not photographing weddings or sessions, I’m usually planning our next trip, trying a new restaurant, or searching for the best coffee in whatever city we find ourselves in. Travel has always inspired my work and shaped the way I see people and places.

At the heart of it all, I’m drawn to the raw real moments. Not the show of it all, I want the stolen glances, the nervous laughter, the tears, anything that pulls me into how it felt to be there. I think at the end of the day the true teller of a story is the emotions you felt in that moment.
